The Kimkins Diet has been exposed as a huge SCAM! Well, maybe the diet isn’t a scam because you can lose weight on the diet, however there are huge health risks involved. What is certainly a scam is the founder of the diet Heidi Diaz aka ‘Kimmer’.
Since the outset of the Kimkins diet plan there have been questions about the legitimacy of the before and after photos posted by ‘Kimmer’. The after photos showed a woman who not only weighed much less, but was also seemingly much younger. And ‘Kimmer’ has never allowed herself to be interviewed in person, seen or photographed. Why the secrecy?
Turns out that ‘Kimmer’ or Heidi Diaz is not the slim person she claims to be. She never lost 198 pounds as claimed and in fact is considerably larger today than when the Kimkins site was started.
You can find a really good history of Kimkins from the beginning through the plans creator being exposed at 3 Fat Chicks blog.
That article also has additional links to photos and blogs written by former Kimkins admins.
Currently Heidi Diaz is the defendant in a class action lawsuit brought by Kimkins members as well as being under investigation by several authorities for various types of fraud.
