Meals – Here’s an example of a day on the Sonoma Diet:
Breakfast: Whole grain cereal and milk

Dinner: Pork Chops with Rosemary, Brussels Sprouts with Prosciutto, 1 slice of rustic whole grain bread, 1/2 cup fresh fruit of choice, 1 glass Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, or Syrah (optional)
Snack: Whole Wheat Pita with Cucumber Yogurt Sauce

Exercise – It is not necessary to exercise in order to lose weight with the Sonoma Diet, but it is recommended. As with any diet you will lose weight faster if you do exercise and it is good for you. Start with something easy like walking 20 minutes a day.
